Taste of Bath Festival 2008 opens

This year's Taste of Bath Festival has opened on the lawns in front of the Royal Crescent, and runs until Saturday, the 6th of July.
The opening was performed by Michael Eavis, the founder of the Glastonbury Festival in the presence of celebrity chefs Hywel Jones, Chris Horridge, Michael Caines and Martin Blunos. Antony Worrall Thompson was also spotted later on.
Local restaurants including The Dower House Restaurant at the Royal Crescent Hotel, The Hole in the Wall, The Angel Coaching Inn at Heytesbury, The Olive Tree, Hudson Steakhouse Bar & Grill, and many more were showcasing their skills to a very appreciative audience.
