This will operate from the what was the Hotel’s original restaurant and piano bar. There will also be a new entrance from Barton Street.

The new restaurant is scheduled to open in May.

Brasserie Blanc has been looking for a site in Bath since 2008 when planners rejected the use of the old Friends Meeting House in York Street.

Sadly the Bath Brasserie Gerard Restaurant has closed with the loss of fourteen jobs. This follows on from the collapse of parent company Paramount Restaurants which went into administration last month.

Some of the 32 restaurants in the chain have transferred to Brasserie Blanc, but the Bath Restaurant was not amongst them.
