    “Dear guests,

Mr Choudhury here from management at The Eastern Eye Restaurant in Bath.

Firstly, we are extremely humbled at receiving yet another such prestigious award and would like to extend a warm thanks to all parties or persons involved. Though it may sound cheesy or convenient, pleasing customers and garnering praise and commendation from customers and critics alike, really is one of the main drives and motivator’s to continuing in the industry.

Yes, it is a business, and yes, profit matters. But honestly it means little if you cannot satisfy your customer base and build a loyal, satisfied community around your establishment. The community and customer base is what ultimately makes or breaks any business, and we have built possibly one of the largest in the South West, not just in Bath.

It is always sad to hear negative reviews or opinions from dissatisfied customers, though in truth these are few and far between. Generally the disappointed tend to be the more vocal minority, but even then, know that we will always heed and build upon your comments.

We serve on average well over a thousand customers a week, which as you can likely imagine, is no easy feat. There is a reason why The Eastern Eye is consistently (and by a wide margin) busier and more critically acclaimed than the rest of the local Indian restaurant competition. With awards and recognition comes the more arduous task of having to live up to that reputation and consistently provide the utmost standard to the ever growing fan base, but we want you to know we will NEVER fail in our commitment to trying our hardest to do just that.

I have taken on board comments from around the web, and customers in person. I have even implemented ballots and questionnaires in the restaurant to (within reason and ability) tackle any and all problem areas or recommendations. Your voice WILL be heard. Our customer opinions are everything to us, and we are trying to take on board all information routed to us.

Over the months we will be spending in excess of £50,000 on refurbishments, re-branding and re-developing all areas of the business, to try and continue to provide the expected premier level of Indian culinary finesse, so please continue your support, as it genuinely means everything to us.

I am always open to comments, opinions and recommendations, however large or small, however positive or negative, it ALL counts. Please drop me a personal email to voice any opinions and I will try my hardest to read through and respond accordingly.

Once again, a very sincere humbled thanks to all critics and customers alike, for all your continued support. We at The Eastern Eye are forever indebted to you all.

    Yours respectfully
Mr Abdul Hadi Choudhury (Managing Director)

  2. NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THIS PLACE FOOD LIKE ANY OTHERS A CON TO CHARGE FOR THE DIPPING PICKLE WITH THE POPADOMS AND THERE WAS SO MUCH RED DYE IN THE DISHES YOU NEEDED SUNGLASSES TO EAT YOUR MEAL, A BIG DISAPOINTMENT NEVER AGAIN.

  3. Enormous menu, which is good in a quality Idian resaurant! My absolute favorite is the vegtable tali. It’s always good and I never can eat it all. I always take away lunch for the next day.
